PeoplePC advertises that they offer "unlimited internet access" in conjunction with AARP.

A client who is an AARP member wishes to use the gmail SSL smtp server for his gmail account. The client uses PeoplePC for a dialup connection. Attempting to use Outlook Express configured according to Gmail's instructions returns "cannot connect" error messages when trying to send email. PeoplePC Technical support says that users must send email via smtpauth.peoplepc.com:587 without secure authentication. Gmail does not prohibit access to their smtp server via 3rd-party connections. Thus, PeoplePC does not actually offer unlimited internet access.
